A Week with Grandpa
Last summer, I spent a week with my Grandpa. His house is in a small village. It is very peaceful.
On the first day, Grandpa showed me his garden. There were many flowers and vegetables. We picked some tomatoes. They were red and juicy.
In the afternoon, we went fishing. Grandpa taught me how to fish. I caught a small fish. It was exciting!
The next day, we walked in the forest. Grandpa knows a lot about trees and birds. He told me their names. We saw a big, old tree. Grandpa said it was 100 years old!
In the evenings, we cooked dinner together. Grandpa is a good cook. We made soup and bread.
Grandpa also told me stories about my mom when she was young. Some stories were funny. I laughed a lot.
One night, we looked at the stars. Grandpa showed me the Big Dipper. The sky was so clear.
On the last day, I was sad to leave. I learned many things from Grandpa. I love spending time with him.
I can’t wait to visit Grandpa again!
