The Raven and the Fox
Bu yazımızda, “Karga ve Tilki” olarak bildiğimiz “The Raven and the Fox” hikayesinin basit bir sürümünü derledik.
There was a raven. He perched upon a tree. In his beak, he had tasty cheese.
Then a fox came up. He smelled the cheese. He looked at the raven and smiled. He had an idea.
“Hello, raven,” said the fox. “You are so pretty! And what a beautiful voice you have. No bird can sing like you! I’d like to hear your wonderful voice.”
The raven felt happy. He wanted to sing and opened his beak. But just as the raven was singing, the cheese fell to the ground.
The fox was quick. He grabbed the cheese right away and said to the raven, “Thank you!”
The raven was sad, but he learned a lesson. Praise can be tricky.
