The Lion and the Mouse
Bu yazımızda, “Aslan ile Fare” olarak bildiğimiz “The Lion and the Mouse” hikayesinin basit bir sürümünü derledik.
In a sunny part of the forest, a big lion was taking a nap. While he was sleeping, a small mouse ran over his tail. The lion woke up and caught the mouse. “Why shouldn’t I eat you?” the lion growled.
The mouse, shaking with fear, replied, “Maybe one day I can help you. Please let me go.”
The lion laughed, “How can a tiny mouse help me?” But he was in a good mood and decided to let the mouse go.
A few days later, hunters came to the forest. They set a trap, and the mighty lion got caught in a net. He tried to break free but couldn’t. The little mouse heard the lion’s roar and remembered his kindness. Quickly, he ran to the trapped lion and began to chew the net.
Soon, the lion was free! He looked at the mouse and said with a smile, “You were right, little friend. Everyone, no matter how small, can make a big difference“
