The Fox and the Grapes
Bu yazımızda, “Tilki ve Üzüm” olarak bildiğimiz “The Fox and the Grapes” hikayesinin basit bir sürümünü derledik.
One day, a hungry fox saw some grapes hanging from a tree. They looked very juicy and tempting.
Bir gün aç bir tilki ağaçta asılı üzümler görmüş. Çok sulu ve iştah açıcı görünüyorlarmış.
The fox tried to jump and get the grapes. Again and again, he jumped, but he just couldn’t reach them.
Tilki zıplayıp üzümleri almaya çalışmış. Tekrar tekrar zıplamış ama bir türlü üzümlere ulaşamamış.
After many tries, he finally stopped and sighed. “Those grapes were already sour anyway,” he said and walked away.
Birçok denemeden sonra sonunda durmuş ve iç çekmiş. “O üzümler zaten ekşiydi,” demiş ve uzaklaşmış.
